Mrs. Joan Cooksey

Mrs. Joan Cooksey, age 82, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky.
 
Mrs. Cooksey was born on June 28, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Kasty Dumblauskas and Anne (Marozas) Dumblauskas. She was a homemaker.
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Cooksey; as well as two brothers, Walter Dumblauskas and Michael Dumblauskas.
 
Survivors include two daughters, Christy Greene and husband Donavon of Springville, Tennessee and Kitty Groves of Austin, Kentucky; one son, Timmy Cooksey and wife Carla of New Concord, Kentucky; one sister, Elizabeth Johnson and husband Edward of Florida; two brothers, James Dumblauskas and wife Tammy of Illinois and Edward Dumblauskas and wife Barbara of Dekalb, Illinois; five grandchildren, Stephanie Green, Ashley Groves, Casey Taylor, Dalton Cooksey, and Amber Cooksey; as well as three great-grandchildren, Jaden Conn, Keilan Conn, and Carson Cooksey.
 
There will be no public visitation or service held.
