Mrs. Cynthia Gail Harris Tripp

 Mrs. Cynthia Gail Harris Tripp, age 63, of Murray, Kentucky, formerly of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
 
          Mrs. Tripp was born on January 24, 1961, in Mayfield, Kentucky to the late Jimmie Lee Harris and Joyce Ann (Burnett) Harris. She worked as a registered nurse for several hospitals throughout her career and was currently employed at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri as a travel nurse. She graduated with a RN degree in 1998 and was awarded the DAISY Award in 2023, for excellence in nursing. She was loving and giving, which made her great not only as a nurse, but a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Mrs. Tripp was an avid cook and gardener, as well as a lover of flowers and travel. Mrs. Tripp was of the Baptist Faith.
 
          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ricky Harris.
 
          Survivors include her husband, Ira Rudy Tripp, Jr. of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Shannon Lee Sanderson of Athens, Alabama and Benjamin Alvin Sanderson of Paducah, Kentucky; other children, Ira Justin Tripp and Ashley Marie Rayburn both of Murray, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Patrick Sanderson of Killen, Texas, Andrew Sanderson of Killen, Texas, and Michael Sanderson of Germany; as well as other grandchildren, Dallas Marie Tripp and Lily Marie Rayburn both of Murray, Kentucky.
 
          A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 5, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with John Dale and Shannon Sanderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lowes Cemetery in Graves County, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 5, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
