Mr. William Victor "Bill" Starkey

 Mr. William Victor “Bill” Starkey, Sr., age 78, of Paris, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the Jackson General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.
            Mr. Starkey was born in Jackson Ocean, New Jersey on February 23, 1946, to the late Richard Starkey, Sr. and Mary Margaret (McKeon) Starkey. Mr. Starkey retired from ICI in Paris, Tennessee, a member of the Union Friendship Baptist Church, and a veteran of the United States Navy.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Starkey was preceded in death by one daughter, Leanne Labadie; and by two brothers, Richard and Patrick Starkey.
Mr. Starkey is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline Michelle Starkey of Murray, Kentucky and Kathryn Renae Starkey of Hazel, Kentucky; one son, William Victor Starkey, Jr. and wife Crystal of Paris, Tennessee; nine grandchildren, Emily Taliaferro, Nicole Taliaferro, Olivia Labadie, Zoe Labadie, Travis Labadie, Aryus Trull, Kali Rhea Trull, Noah Hamilton, and Julia Starkey; as well as great grandchildren, Emeri and Mariana White.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Bro. Kerry Shopher and Bro. Tom Winchester will officiate, and burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025, in the Olive Branch Cemtery in Cottage Grove, Tennessee. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
