Mr. Ronnie Dale Pool

Mr. Ronnie Dale Pool, age 72, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
 
          Mr. Pool was born in Murray, Kentucky, on July 16, 1951, to the late Roy Allen Pool and Thelma Rosell (Kemp) Pool.   Mr. Pool retired from the Murray – Calloway County Hospital as a nurse after 42 years of service. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Murray, Kentucky, as well as the Outreach Sunday School Class. Mr. Pool was also a member and past president of the Lion’s Club of Murray, he was a Kentucky Colonel, and volunteered at the Murray-Calloway Chamber of Commerce as an Office Ambassador.
 
          In addition to his parents, Mr. Pool was preceded in death by his half-brother, Billy Pool and his wife Irene Pool.
 
          Mr. Pool is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Venable) Pool, to whom he married on June 7, 1986, at the Goshen United Methodist Church in Murray, Kentucky; and one son, Matthew A. Pool and wife Ashton of Murray, Kentucky.
 
          A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Murray, Kentucky. Dr. Rick Dye, Rev. Jeff Rudy, and Rev. Terry Hunley will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home and Cremation Services. There will also be a visitation prior to the funeral service at the First United Methodist Church on Monday, March 25, 2024, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
