Mr. R.C. Olive

Mr. R.C. Olive, age 86, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Monday, August 8, 2022, at the Spring Creek Healthcare in Murray, Kentucky.
 
          Mr. Olive was born on December 9, 1935, in Henry County, Tennessee to the late Hershell Olive and Jewell Page Olive. He was a retired farmer and a member/trustee of the Church of the Living God Temple #347.
 
          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Hutcherson Olive; two daughters, Tammie Ynette Olive and Shelia Olive; as well as seven sisters and three brothers.
 
          Survivors include two daughters, Diane Olive Perry and husband Donald of Murray, Kentucky and Tavia Olive of Benton, Kentucky; two sons, Ronnie Olive of Murray, Kentucky and Glendale Olive of Mayfield, Kentucky; three sisters, Verlyn Gaines of Murray, Kentucky, Zora Sanders of Murray, Kentucky and Donna Diaz of New York; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
 
          A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with burial following in the Murray City Cemetery. Pastor Michael Cowan will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
