Mr. Lloyd "Peanut" Ray Long, Sr.

Mr. Lloyd “Peanut” Ray Long, Sr., age 65, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Mercy Health in Paducah, Kentucky.
            Mr. Long was born on October 2, 1959, in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Bob Davis and Ella Faye (Niccum) Long Davis. He was a self-employed mechanic.
            In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Delia Long and Janet (Long) Free; as well as three brothers, Bobby Long, Floyd Long, and Jacob Long.
            Survivors include his wife, Debbie (Reedy) Long of Terre Haute, Indiana; three daughters, Nina Long of Murray, Kentucky, Bonnie Long of Paducah, Kentucky, and Angie Long of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Lloyd “PeeWee” Long, Jr. and wife Lisa of Murray, Kentucky and Bobby Long and wife Tonya of Murray, Kentucky; three sisters, Leona Snyder of Murray, Kentucky, Lola Jordan and husband David of Murray, Kentucky, and Sherrie Pritchard and husband Chris of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Tommy Long and wife Jamie of Terre Haute, Indiana; one newly born granddaughter, Ny’Onnie Bailey of Murray, Kentucky; several additional grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; as well as his four legged best friend, Coshebe.
            A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Brett Miles officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
