Mr. Jimmy D. Allen

Mr. Jimmy D. Allen, age 76, of Hardin, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at his home.

Mr. Jimmy was born on July 15, 1948, in Golden Pond, Kentucky to the late James D. Allen and Reba Turner Allen. He was a retired truck driver, having worked for the Marshall County Road Department for 22 years. Mr. Jimmy enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his ranger, and spending time with his grandson. He was a member of the Turkey Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his sister; Patricia Allen Howle; and his niece, Chasity Howle.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Higgins Allen of Hardin, Kentucky; they married on September 22, 1968; one daughter, Kim Jacob and husband Hank of Hardin, Kentucky; one sister, Tammy Holland and husband Danny of Calvert City, Kentucky; one grandson, Ethan Morrison of Murray, Kentucky; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Brett Miles officiating. Burial will follow in the Ferguson Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
