Mr. Dennis J. Thorn

Mr. Dennis J. Thorn, age 82, of Almo, Kentucky, went home to heaven on Saturday, September 28, 2024.  He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Ruth, and his daughter Christina and her husband Tyson; and his grandson and buddy Jack. He is also survived by two brothers, Euwin Stalls and Randy Stalls.
         
Dennis retired from Vulcan Materials, formerly Reed Crushed Stone in Gilbertsville, Kentucky.  He was a devout member of the Hickory Grove Church of Christ.  Dennis was entirely devoted to his family.  Cheering for the Kentucky Wildcats and the St. Louis Cardinals were two of his favorite pastimes. 
         
Anyone wanting to remember Dennis is invited to a graveside service on Wednesday, October 2, at 11:00 a.m. at Murray Memorial Gardens in Murray, Kentucky.  Those in attendance are encouraged to wear Kentucky blue or their favorite UK apparel in celebration of Dennis’s avid devotion to the Wildcats.
