Mr. Billy Joe Outland

Mr. Billy Joe Outland, age 91, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the Spring Creek Healthcare in Murray, Kentucky.
 
          Mr. Outland was born on January 7, 1933, in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Oval Outland and Lois (Tucker) Outland. He retired from BFGoodrich in Calvert City, Kentucky after 32 years. Mr. Outland was a Korean War United States Air Force Veteran, member of the Elm Grove Baptist Church, and Steadfast Sunday School class.
 
          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Patricia Thorton, Betty McKinney, and Imogene Stevens; two brothers, James Outland and Charles Outland; as well as one son-in-law, Robert Brelsford.
 
          Survivors include his wife, Gwendolyn (Flood) Outland of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Tammy Brelsford of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Mark Outland of Murray, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Tiffany O’Neal, Chase Brelsford both of Murray, Kentucky, and Jake Outland of St. Francis, Minnesota; as well as four great-grandchildren, Madison Brelsford, Colton O’Neal, Haven O’Neal all of Murray, Kentucky, and Ozz Outland of St. Francis, Minnesota.
 
          A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at the Elm Grove Cemetery with Bro. Clint Gentry officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
