Mr. Billy Don Wilkerson

Mr. Billy Don Wilkerson, age 52, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
 
            Mr. Wilkerson was born on May 12, 1971, in Benton, Kentucky. He graduated from Calloway County High School in 1990 and was a member of the Owens Chapel Baptist Church.
 
            He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Eurie and Ruby Wilkerson; maternal grandfather, William Lawrence; as well as three aunts, Sheila Turner, Judy Wilkerson, and Sandra Lawrence.
 
            Survivors include his parents, Gary “Don” and Darlene (Lawrence) Wilkerson of Murray, Kentucky; special friend, Pam Turnbow of Mayfield, Kentucky; maternal grandmother, Lillian Lawrence of Kirksey, Kentucky; aunts and uncles, Nancy Ray and husband Jerry of Mayfield, Kentucky, Ronnie Wilkerson of Mayfield, Kentucky, Kenny Wilkerson and wife Susie of Orlando, Florida, Doris Green and husband Ronnie of Kirksey, Kentucky, Diana Chadwick and husband Danny of Murray, Kentucky, Gary Lawrence and wife Joetta of Kirksey, Kentucky, and Toby Turner of Kirksey, Kentucky; as well as several cousins.
 
            A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. James Stom officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
