Rose Pirtle

Our beloved Jenna Rose Pirtle, age 88 of Clinton, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 6:30 PM in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her children.  Rose was a lifetime member of Beulah Baptist Church where she loved singing hymns and learning of the Lord.  She had retired from her career as a nurses aid, hair dresser & homemaker and mother.  She enjoyed family gatherings and was a wonderful cook. 

She is survived by her children, Karen (Richard) Radford of Clinton, Ray (Kathy) Pirtle of Dukedom, TN and Lisa Pirtle of Clinton, grandchildren, Rose Ann Ross (Tracy) of Murray, Betsy Devinney of Clinton, Rebecca Bridges (Scott) of Paducah, Jessie Pirtle of Nashville, TN and Josh Pirtle of Martin, TN and her great grandchildren, Lillian & Emma Devinney, Daniel & Johanna Ross, Michael Andrews, Henry Bridges and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Rob & Birdie O’Neal, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, husband, James Edward Pirtle and a son, Neal Edward Pirtle.   

Funeral services for Rose will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Cody Hopwood officiating.  Burial will follow in the Beulah Community Cemetery.  Friends may call from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Brown Funeral Home in Clinton.
