Rebecca "Becky" White

Mrs. Rebecca “Becky” White age 91, of Boaz, KY passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at 7:16 AM Monday November 29, 2021 at her residence. Becky was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved UK Wildcats Basketball, baking bread and doing for others. She was a member of Melber Baptist Church, attended Draughon’s Business College, was retired after over 30 years of service from West Kentucky Rural Telephone and served as the custodian of Melber Baptist Church for over 40 years.
 
Becky is survived by her daughter – Janet (Kenneth) Smith of Mayfield, KY; two sons – Steve (Marie) White of Melber, KY and John L. White of Norfolk, VA; sister – Johnnie N. Hoopes of Delaware, OH; grandchildren – Jonathan (Sarah) Smith, Kathy Smith, LeAnn (Jodi) Moyers, and Carey (Matt) Rickard; great-grandchildren – Nautica, Mekhiya and Kymora Beasley, Hunter, Lilly and Andrew Smith, Stayton and Samuel Thompson, Wyatt Rickard and Elijah Moyers.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years – Charles M. White; parents – John M. & Nellie (Rives) Ray; and a brother – Joel Ray.
 
Graveside services for Becky will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Allcock Cemetery with Rev. Paul Wilkerson officiating. Friends are invited to call between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
