Mary Freeman

Mary Sue Wade Freeman, age 87 of Clinton, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021 at her residence.  She was a member of Clinton First United Methodist Church, retired from the Kresge/Kmart Corporation as head of shipping and receiving and then worked as an inspector for Henry Edwards and Garan after her retirement.  She is survived by her daughter, LaVonne (Kenneth) Helfer of Clinton, 2 grandchildren, Shelly (Shane) Harding and Danette Humphreys, both of Clinton, 6 great grandchildren, Nathan (Stormie) Harding, Sophia Harding, both of Clinton, Johnathon (Chloe Corzine) Humphreys of Georgia, Katelyn Humphreys of So. Fulton, TN, Kyleigh Humphreys and Alexis Bartolo both of Clinton, and 1 great great grandchild Jasper Harding of Clinton, 2 brothers, Charles Wade and James Wade, and 3 sisters, Marge (Harold) Kelly, Joyce (Roy) Conley and Anita Brann.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry Henry and Ruth Cornelia Townsend Wade, husband Nathan Milner Freeman, grandson, Jeffrey Bartolo, great granddaughter, Brittany Cook and brother, Otis Ford Wade.  A memorial service will be held Monday, December 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Clinton First United Methodist Church.  Friends may call after 12 Noon on Monday, December 27, 2021 at the church.  Donations:  Hickman Co.
