George Moore

Mr. George Moore, age 71 of Clinton passed away 9:21 PM Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Clinton Place.  George was a logger for 55 Years and former owner of Moore Tie & Lumber Co. 
 
He is survived by his Son, Alan (Misty) Webb of Mayfield; daughter, Tanya Kelly of Fulton; 5 Grandchildren, Alana Webb of Symsonia, Dalan and Owen Webb of Mayfield, Dylan Kelly of Clinton and Justin Kelly of Fulton; 3 Great-grandchildren, Yuna and Kairi Holland and Wrenley Kelly.  6 Brothers, Buster Moore, JC Moore, Archie Moore, Luther Moore, William Moore and Paul Moore; 3 Sisters, Stella Moore, Paulette Cannon and Mary Doris Howe. 
 
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Stout Moore and William David “Duke” Moore, SR and 2 Brothers.
 
Funeral Services will be held 3 PM on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the Brown Funeral Home in Clinton with Rev. Chris Clark officiating.  Burial will follow in the Springhill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held after 12:30 PM on Saturday at the Brown Funeral Home in Clinton.
