Zoe Nicole Johnson, a self-employed mother of three, entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 7, 2026. As a young girl, she accepted Christ as her Savior and joined with Washington Street Baptist Church in Paducah. She most recently attended Mount Zion in Nashville, Tennessee.
Zoe was born on August 7, 1994, the daughter of Candace and Anthony Burton. She was a proud member of the 2012 graduating class of Spring Hill High School in Spring Hill, Tennessee.
Zoe was known as a “free spirit” who enjoyed being the life of the party. Whenever she entered a room, she took command of it. She loved to travel and declared Turks as her favorite vacation spot. In fact, she visited Turks so often the people knew her by name.
Fashion was her “thing.” She was always impeccably dressed and her natural beauty resulted in her being the center of attention. Although fashion was important, Zoe’s first love was her family especially her kids, not just hers. She took time with other people’s kids and loved to spoil them. She was a daddy’s girl, and she doted on her three children whom she adored. She loved board games and a good game of Spades. She had expensive taste when it came to food, with her favorite place to eat being “Olive Garden”.
Zoe had most recently passed the test for her Realtors license and was excited about this next chapter of her life. She owned two small businesses, Foreverplay TN Softplay Rentals and most recently started an embroidery business, The Stitch Lab.
Left behind to cherish sweet memories of Zoe are her Three Children, Haizel Chanel Mason and Zai Shaquille Mason of Franklin, Tennessee, children of Shaquille Mason and Navey Kyrie Carter of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, son of Roshod Carter; her Parents, Anthony Burton and Candace Johnson Burton of Spring Hill, Tennessee; her Siblings, Xavier Bacon of Prattville, Alabama, Quin Rowland of Mayfield, Kentucky, Khloe Burton of Spring Hill, Tennessee, Monique Taylor and Antoinette Youngblood, both of Union City, Tennessee, Shaundra Guthrie of Fulton, Kentucky, Tyrin McCauley of Paducah, Kentucky, and Brandi McDonald of Paris, Tennessee; Isaac Bonds and Jakari Garnett, brothers and Tianna Garnett, sister, all of Paducah, KY; her Paternal Grandmother, Teresa Burton of Fulton, Kentucky; her Maternal Grandparents, Winfred and Sharon Nunn of Paducah, Kentucky; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceding her in death were her maternal grandfather, Kenny Johnson; her maternal grandparents, Laverne and Rosemary Winmon; and her paternal great grandmother, Alice Burton.
Zoe will be greatly missed but never lost in the hearts and minds of those who loved her.
A funeral service has been scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026, 12:00 NOON (CST), at Washington Street Baptist Church with Pastor Raynarldo Henderson and Pastor Michaael Pryor officiating.
Family will receive friends on Saturday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
