Theresa Louise Sloan passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Baptist Health Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky. She was born March 16, 1967, in Paducah the daughter of Cletus Woods and Dorothy Cole. At the time of her passing, Theresa had acquired 57 years, 10 months and 4 days of life.
Theresa was of the Baptist faith. She received certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant from West Kentucky Community Technical College. She was formerly employed as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Riverfront Terrace, both located in Paducah.
Theresa had a good sense of humor. She loved watching Tyler Perry productions and caring for others, especially her grandchildren. Family was very important to her. Her idea of fun included cooking from scratch, fishing, crocheting and playing bingo.
Preceding her in death was her maternal grandmother, Catherine Crumbaugh; two aunts Betty Cooper and Wilma King Boyd; her uncles, Earnest Mitchell and Robert Mitchell; her mother-in-law, Hettie Sloan Hobson; and a brother-in-law, Lloyd I. Boyd.

A Visitation only service will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home.
