Rachel Ann Walker age 67 of Paducah, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, 5:00 p.m. at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah.
Rachel was a faithful and dedicated member of the Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church where she had served as both church secretary and office-manager as well as being a member of both the church choir and the usher ministry. She had received her associate degree in business administration from the former West Kentucky Vocational School and was a member of the Unique Savings Club.
Rachel was an avid bowler with the Pacesetters who bowled on Wednesday nights and bowled with a Women’s league on Monday nights. She was a homemaker and gardener who loved and cared for her family. Rachel was a good friend to all and was one to find great fun line-dancing.

Walker of Paducah, KY; One Grandson, Derran R. Freeman of Paducah, KY; Including Close Relatives, Yvonne Coleman of Paducah, KY, Yolanda Coleman of Atlanta. GA, Tanisha Wilson of Murfreesboro, TN, Rondell Walker of Memphis, TN, Courtney Walker of Huntsville, AL, Mario R. Walker of Baltimore, MD, Rose Snell and Shirley Lynch, both of Atlanta, GA, Michael Coleman of Bowling Green, KY, Sister-In-Law, Sheila Walker of Murfreesboro, TN; Special Friends Since Childhood, Frances Thomas-Brown, Theresa Bridges and Ruth Ann Moody, all of Hopkinsville, KY, Mary Pettus-Rowland and Alberta White, both of Paducah, KY, Other Coleman Relatives from Hopkinsville, Ky along with Several Nieces, Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins from the Coleman Family.
Those awaiting her Heavenly Arrival are her parents, Clifton and Virginia Ann Coleman-Bacon, her uncle, Fred Coleman, her nephew, Elliott Walker, her sister-in-law, Sharon K. Walker Parker, and her brother-in-law, Ralph Walker.
Funeral services have been scheduled for Friday, September 1, 2023, 12 noon at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. James L. Hudson and Reverend Marion Daniels officiating. Burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at the church on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
