Linda R. Turner, a vibrant and loving soul, left this world on February 3, 2026, just days shy of her 77th birthday, at her residence in Paducah, Kentucky. Her life was a tapestry woven with faith, love, and joy, leaving behind indelible memories for her family and friends.

Born on February 6, 1949, in Water Valley, MS, to Aaron Reese, Sr. and Corine Folson, Linda attended the former Lincoln High School and was a proud graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. She pursued her education further by attending Draughon’s Business College, where she majored in Business Administration. Her commitment to personal growth paved the way for her to serve as a Behavioral Specialist at the Stillwater Center, where she touched many lives with her compassion and care.

Linda’s spiritual journey began early in her life when she accepted Christ and was baptized into membership at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church on June 14, 1959. She later joined the Calvary Church Family in Dayton, Ohio, where she actively participated in the Culinary Committee and devoted her energy to the Youth Ministry. Upon her return to Paducah, she became a cherished member of the Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church Family, lending her beautiful voice to the choir and spreading the word of God. Linda’s faith was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her actions and infusing her life with purpose.

Linda was affectionately known as a “Fashionista,” always elegantly dressed and exuding joy wherever she went. Her passion for life was evident not only in her style but also in her love for dance and home decorating. She had an innate ability to make her surroundings welcoming, a reflection of her big heart.

A true friend to all, Linda never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her family was her pride and joy, and her love for them shone brightly, serving as a golden key that unlocked happiness in her life.
