Laura Ann Parrott went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 8:20 p.m. She made her transition from the Green Acres Health Care Center in Mayfield, KY. at the blessed age of 60 years, 4 months and 21 days. Laura was born on July 21, 1964, in Mayfield. Her parents were the late Robert Owens and Linda Lucille Kelly House.
Laura attended the West Lee Street Church of Christ in Mayfield. She was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and was employed as a clerk at the Dollar General Store.
Laura was a very loveable person and was a dear friend to all of whom she made contact. Her nature led her to be a mother to all and would help anybody in any situation. To sum it all up, Laura was an all-around wonderful person. Laura found great joy and pleasure taking care of her dogs and working with her plants, keeping them lovely in her sight.
Laura leaves to appreciate her nurturing way of life: One Daughter, Latoria Payne and One Son, Chris Payne, both of Mayfield, KY; Eleven Grandchildren; One Great-Granddaughter; Her Siblings, Kevin and Tiffany Parrott of Charlotte, NC, Veronica Roddy of Dauragiac, MI, Corey Roddy of Lenox Township, MI, Keith Parrott of Jacksonville, FL, Kenny Parrot, Abigail Parrott, Tyrone (Connie) Owens and Gerome Owens, both of Mayfield, KY , and Mizzell Benjamin Parrott of Racine, WI; Patrick Owens of NC, and Renata Bush of Westland, MI; One Great-Aunt, Nina Lassiter of Racine, WI, One Uncle, Brother Thomas E. “Jake” Todd of Paducah, KY; Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Blue Building Sportsplex 925 N 15th Street in Mayfield, KY.
