Jacqueline Bonita Nailing, a beloved resident of Paducah, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Advent Health in Tampa, Florida. She was 64 years old.
Born on October 30, 1960, in Philipp, Mississippi, Jacqueline was the daughter of the late James Zell Williba and the late L.O. Ease Brown Williba. She was a proud graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and honorably served her country as a veteran of the United States Navy.
Jacqueline dedicated her career to service and hospitality working as a supervising attendant for housekeeping services at Hampton Inn for eight years, and later for five years with Kroger as a store associate.
Beyond her professional life, Jacqueline had a deep love for adventure and creativity. She found joy in collecting antiques, fashion design, traveling, sightseeing, and entertainment. She was known for her infectious laughter and love for rollercoasters. Her passions also included horticulture, photography, and she absolutely loved to dance. She also loved caring for her cherished pets Rebecca, Olivia, and her grand dogs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Derwin Keith Nailing I; her parents; her sister, Diane Williba; and her grandparents, Benny and Lee Ella Brown.
Jacqueline’s memory will forever be cherished by her Two Sons, Keith Nailing of Tampa, Florida and Latrelle Nailing (Rafiel Banks) of Paducah, Kentucky; her Bonus Son, Joshua Montgomery of Tampa, Florida; and her Close Friend, John Sanders of Paducah, Kentucky.
Jacqueline’s presence brought warmth and laughter to those around her. She will be deeply missed by family and friends who loved her dearly.
Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, February 1, 2025, 12 Noon at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Wade officiating.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
