Ja-Net Perry Freeman, age 74 of Paducah, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021, 1:52 a.m. at Baptist Health Paducah.
She was a member of Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church where she organized and served in the First Aide Caregivers Department. She retired from Superior Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Paducah where she worked as a private sitter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Jewell H. Perry, Sr. and Emma Mae Stubblefield Perry, one sister and three brothers.
She is survived by her husband, Gary K. Freeman; six nieces, Tongo Lynn Miller, Twanda Maxwell, Tara Garrett all of Paducah and Sherry Perry of Louisville, KY, Dawn Perry of Missouri, Yolanda Yvette Perry, pf Detroit; three nephews; James Canon of Tuscaloosa, AL. Jewell Maxwell of North Carolina and DeWayne Perry of St. Louis; several other great nieces, and cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday September 4, 2021, 12:00 noon at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with Rev’s Calvin Cole, Sr. and Donna Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call Saturday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
