Heidi Roberta Deen

Heidi Roberta Deen of Metropolis, Illinois, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah, Kentucky. At the time of her passing, Heidi was blessed with 58 years, 6 months and 5 days of life on earth.

Heidi was born on October 12, 1966, in Binghamton, New York, the daughter of Jason and Hilde Gard Deen. She was a high school graduate and was formerly employed as a cafeteria worker at Metropolis Middle School.

Heidi was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Metropolis, Illinois. She loved to cook and would feed anybody. She would often say the reason she fed people is because, “that might be Jesus.”

Heidi lived her life to the fullest. She was an avid fisherman, loved to scroll through Facebook, travel, play cards, play games on her phone, spend time with her sisters and friends, and absolutely adored her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother, Jason Deen, Jr. and one sister, Josie Purvis.

Left behind to cherish sweet memories are Two Daughters, Crystal (Brandon) Harris of Metropolis, Illinois, and Candace Riley of Paducah, Kentucky; One Son, Terrell Deen of Metropolis, Illinois; Fourteen Grandchildren, Lanaysia, Canden, Brandon, Jr., Sire, Sevyn, Arian, Darian, Jaleal, Cadance, Tiana, Sekani, Demaria, Justus, and Dalton; Two Sisters, Elizabeth (Gary) Reddick of Golconda, Illinois, and Sharon Goodman of Metropolis, Illinois, and Several other Relatives.
