Buster W. Morrison, Jr

Buster W. Morrison, Jr. passed away at his residence in Paducah, KY, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at approximately 5:05 p.m.  Buster was born to the late Buster W. Morrison, Sr. and the late Estella Roberta King Morrison on September 13, 1960, in Paducah, KY.  At the time of his death, Buster was blessed to have been on earth for 64 years, 3 months and 25 days.
 
Buster was a member of Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church and a 1979 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. While attending Paducah Tilghman, he was a starting forward for the PTHS Basketball Team. 
 
He was formerly employed in sales for a portion of his life. 
 
Buster was born to play the bass. He is best known for being a musician who played in a band along with his father and nephew for over twenty years. In his leisure time he thoroughly enjoyed both fishing and playing basketball.  Buster was a man of few words; however, if he knew you, he would talk for hours on end. 
 
Buster leaves the following to remember his quiet life: His Son, Attikus Wheeler (Evoney) Piper; His Grandchildren, Xavier Peace and Rhilynn Piper, Christopher Don Ware, Jr. Carter Dell Ware and Kori Keyel Ware all of Bowling Green, KY and Cristen Akiya Lynn Ware of Paducah; Five Brothers, Danny (Marilyn) Williams, Brandon Dunivin, Shon Williams, Chad Williams, and Larry “Wayne” Morrison; One Sister, Brooke Dunivin, all of Paducah, KY; His Daughter- In-Law, Ashley Nicole Price of Bowling Green, KY; Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Other Relatives.
 
Those, along with his parents, who have answered God’s call are his son, Christopher Ware and his sister, Sharon Morrison.
