Sheila June Romain

West Paducah, KY Sheila June Romain, age 77, passed away at Wednesday, May 18, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born January 1, 1945 to her parents, the late Clarence and Gennia Hargrove Yarbrough. Sheila retired from Western Baptist Hospital after 30 years of service as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. Her grandchildren were her life, they called her Nannie. She was their rock, she defined strength and pointed to them to Christ through her love and actions every day. Made sure they did not go without and was their biggest cheerleader and supporter. She was the world's best cook and always made sure to cook their favorites. She attended their sporting events and enjoyed camping with her grandchildren. She loved the Lord and served him faithfully.

Sheila is survived by her husband of 37 years, Tommy Romain of West Paducah, KY; three sons, Flint Renfrow (Reta) of Barlow, Klint Renfrow (Candace) of Kevil, and Scott Romain (Sherry) of West Paducah, KY; a daughter, Marla Cooper (Todd) of Barlow, KY; three brothers, Earl Yarbrough (Ann) of Wickliffe, KY, Brad Yarbrough (Shirley) of Mayfield and Coy Yarbrough (Christy) of Wickliffe, KY; two sisters, Sue Rollins (Steve) of Wickliffe, KY and Janet Payne (Terry) of Bardwell, KY; eight grandchildren, Laine Cooper, Kayla Vance, Keagan Cooper, Jacob Renfrow, Austin Renfrow, Macy Renfrow, Kenny King and Cory King, eighteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Gale Yarbrough and Larry Yarbrough.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter with the Rev. Bruce Latta and Rev. Larry Davidson officiating. Interment will follow at LaCenter Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 am Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Morrow Funeral Capel in LaCenter, KY.
