Ruby Thompson

Paducah, KY Ruby Earline Thompson, age 93, passed away at her home Monday, May 15, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born  on February 14, 1930 to her late parents, L.C. and Mary D. (Russell) Kelley. Ruby was a member of New Liberty United Methodist Church.  She retired from Credence Speakers after several years of employment.  Ruby enjoyed riding her bike, gardening, canning her own food and sewing her children's clothes when they were growing up. 

Ruby is survived by a son, Russell Gene Thompson (Donna) of Paducah, KY; three daughters, Patricia Ann Hayes of Paducah, KY, Pamela Thompson of Paducah, KY and Paula Thompson of Paducah, KY; seven grandchildren, Brad Miller, Michael Miller, Derrick Miller, Trent Thompson, Brittany Bartley, Miranda Shoulta and Zachary Rudolph; nine great grandchildren, Brandon Miller, Raelyn Miller, Allie Miller, Adam Miller, Andon Miller, Aaron Miller, Bailey Thompson, Brady Thompson and  Avery Grace Baker.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Billy Gene Thompson; four brothers, one sister and her parents.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023 after 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with Rev. Brian Nance officiating. 

Interment will follow at New Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery in Kevil, KY.
