Mary Kay Riepe

Bandana, KY Mary Kay Riepe, age 82, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026. She was born February 6, 1944 in St. Charles, IL to her late parents, Robert "Tom" and Marie (Vandewalle) Rowan.

Mary Kay was a devoted member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in LaCenter where she was passionate about St. Mary's Catholic Church Food Pantry.  She was branch manager at C-Plant in LaCenter for several years.  In her younger years she enjoyed fishing with her husband, Clyde. She was an outstanding cook and enjoyed family vacations. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy.

She is survived by her children, Dawn Lamb, Kim Farmer, Michael and wife Shana Riepe; a brother, Bob and wife Althea Rowan; grandchildren, Holly, husband Steve Wray, Wesley and wife Catherine Farmer, Hayden and wife Alexandria Farmer, Marie and husband Joe Gruber, and Haley Allen. Several great grandchildren; Kayleigh, Hadley, Aubrey, Emmy, Will, Landon Wray, Oliver and Lyla, Emmett, and Evelyn Farmer, Haylee, Alice and Dana. Several nieces and nephews.

Mary Kay was preceded in death by, her husband of 57 years, Clyde Riepe, her parents, and a brother, Mark Rowan.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 27, 2026, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in LaCenter, KY from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held Friday, February 27, 2026 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in LaCenter, KY at 1:00 p.m. with Father Jude Okeoma officiating.  

Interment will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery.
