Bandana, KY Kris Owsley "Peanut", age 53 passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. Kris was born March 25, 1970 to his parents Billy Wayne Owsley and Judy Owsley.
For many years Kris and his brother, Kevin, helped their Dad and Uncle operate Triple "O" Farms which was a dairy farm located north of Bandana. He was a proud recently retired member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 181 for 17 years. Kris was a heavy equipment operator and took great pride in his construction jobs. He was a member of Oscar Baptist Church and was baptized on October 10, 2010.
He is survived by his children, Cash (Kaycee) of Pleasant Plains, IL; Keaton of Bowling Green, KY Cameron of Bandana, KY and Kaydence of Calvert City, KY; his mother, Judy Owsley of LaCenter, KY; one brother, Kevin Owsley (Rebecca) of Bandana, KY; two grandchildren, Hallie and Dexter. Kris was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren. He loved them with all his heart.
Kris was preceded in death by his father, Billy Wayne Owsley and his son, Kanyon Scott Owsley.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 8, 2023 after 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with Rev. Ryan Baker officiating.
Interment will follow at Providence Cemetery.
