Kenneth Allen Poloski, Jr., of Bandana, Kentucky, passed away on September 5, 2025, at Ray & Kay Hospice Center, surrounded by loving family, friends and his dog JD. Kenneth was born on December 7, 1971, to Kenneth and Jenny Lou Poloski in Paducah, Kentucky.

He was a graduate of Heath High School, Class of 1990. He was a man of many talents—from carpentry, singing, and playing his banjo, to working outdoors. Despite staying busy, everyone knew they could call him anytime, and he would show up without hesitation to help with anything they needed. Husband, dad, brother, pap-pap, uncle, and friend were all titles he carried proudly and close to his heart.

Kenneth was proudest of the life he and Crystal, his wife of 35 years, built together. He was a deeply rooted family man whose most cherished moments were spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren. His legacy and love will continue to live through his family, just as he taught them: family first, then everything else after that. Kenneth began his fight with cancer in February 2021. He used his battle as a testimony to others, showing strong faith and strength in God. He encouraged others not to worry and to take everything day by day. Throughout his journey with cancer, he never complained, but instead would respond by saying, “If I were any better, there would be two of me.” He fought until the end and went home peacefully to be with the Lord.

He is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Poloski; his three children, Kenny Poloski (Kenslie) of Bandana, KY, Katelyn Poloski (Channing) of Gage, KY, and Karley Benton (Hunter) of Bandana, KY; and two beautiful granddaughters, Kenlie James Poloski and Lovett Lou Benton, both of Bandana, KY. He is also survived by two sisters, Penny (Steve) Adams and Loretta (Terry) Wallace, both of Kevil, KY; his mother-in-law, Carole Gilbert of Venice, FL; as well as several brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. In addition, his Aunt Janis Crabtree holds a special place in the hearts of the family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Jenni Lou Poloski; his paternal grandparents, Doc and Ruth Crabtree; and his maternal grandparents, Pauline and Frank Poloski.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Dr. Claudino and his staff at Mercy Cancer Center, along with the staff at Mercy Intensive Care and Hospice Care.
