Barlow, KY, James Lowe, age 76, passed away at Tri-Star Centennial Hospital in Nashville, TN on November 1, 2024. He was born on February 14, 1948, in Oliver Springs, TN to his parents, Willard and Ruby Silvey Lowe.
James was a jack of all trades, but he was a fantastic mechanic. He could do any repair of a vehicle and his was always immaculately clean. If he wasn't working on a vehicle, he was in his yard working. Yard work was a priority and his always looked great. James loved watching WWE and old westerns, such as Gunsmoke and Bonanza, and was an avid Nascar fan of Mark Martins. He was the backbone to the family and always ready to lend a helping hand. James loved the Lord. His family was his pride and joy, especially his grandchildren. But his greatest love of his life was his wife, Sandra.
James is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sandra Lowe; one son, William Jess Lowe (Maggie) of Wellsville, Missouri; three daughters, Lana Joiner of Piggott, Arkansas, Susan Glasgow of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Candice Broadwater of Pocahontas, Arkansas; two sisters, Edna Harris of Barlow, Ky and Judy Manastratin of LaCenter, Ky; six grandchildren, Chasity Campbell, Charliegh Glascow, Logan Glascow, Korleigh Glascow, Luca Broadwater and David Schneider; two great-grandchildren, Isaiah Cole and Lilith Mille; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, after 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jason Hay officiating.
