James Aaron Ingram, aged 85, of Wickliffe, Kentucky, peacefully passed away at his home on July 10, 2026. Born on December 6, 1940, in Hughes, Arkansas, Jim was the beloved son of the late Walter Richard and Blanch (Haley) Ingram.
Jim dedicated 48 years to Westvaco before retiring and found great joy in assisting his son on the farm. A devoted family man, he cherished time with his loved ones and friends. His passion for the outdoors was evident in his love for mowing and his enthusiasm for sports, with a particular fondness for football and baseball. Known affectionately as a professional "piddler," Jim took pleasure in working in his shop.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Sue Doublin Ingram of Wickliffe; son, Gary Ingram (Dana) of Cape Coral, Florida; and daughter, Pam Dennis of Paducah, Kentucky. His legacy lives on through four sisters, Sheila Holder (Wayne) of Bartlett, Tennessee, Sandra Henry (Curtis) of East Prairie, Missouri, Linda McNair, and Peggy Reed, both of West Memphis, Arkansas. Jim is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Evelyn Ingram, a grandson, Bradley Dennis, three brothers, Gene, Ralph, and Danny Ingram, as well as three sisters, Betty Childers, Margie McDonald, and Judy Worthy.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
