Donnie Lee Fondaw

LaCenter, KY Donnie Lee Fondaw, age 75, passed away at his home Thursday, October 26, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born August 12, 1948 in Paducah, KY to his parents Carl and Mary Fondaw.
Donnie served on the LaCenter Police Department for 21 years.  He  was a master welder, iron worker, carpenter and a member of Heartland Church. Donnie owned and operated The Dock Shop with his brother, Rick at Jonathan Creek. He loved fishing and working in his garden daily, but more importantly he loved his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Fondaw of LaCenter, KY; one son, Gary Fondaw and his wife Martine of Savannah, GA; one daughter, Heather Moss and husband Chris of LaCenter, KY; seven grandchildren, Cody Crabtree and wife Bryce, Cassidy Brown and Cody, William Fondaw, Chris Fondaw, Chelsea Fondaw, Mackenzie White and Zack Fondaw; eight great grandchildren, Case, Cohen, Zyanna, Samaria, Meah, Lynleigh, Lane and Wyatt; one brother, Ronnie Fondaw and his wife Carol of Grand Rivers, KY; one sister Babbie Magee of LaCenter, KY and many nieces and nephews.
Donnie is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Anna Bailey, Glenda Wiggins and Rita Poole; one brother, Rick Fondaw.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Russ Wilson officiating.
Interment will follow funeral service at LaCenter Cemetery.
