David Meredith Walker

Kevil, KY David Meredith Walker, age 73, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.

He was born February 24, 1950 in Woodville, KY to his late parents, Meredith and Leona Long Walker. David was a member of Rickman Road Baptist Church.
He retired from Ballard County Road Department.  David owned and operated Walker Garage in Kevil for over 50 years.  He was a great mechanic.

He is survived by a son, Michael Walker of South Fulton, TN; three stepsons, Michael Thomas Underwood of Louisville, KY, Donald Joseph Underwood (Sherry) of Murray, KY, Joshua Holt Underwood (Kristan) of Paducah, KY; two daughters, Samantha Hargrove (Lee) of Barlow, KY, Tia Warren (Michael) of Kevil, KY; four step daughters, Michelle Hall (Jimmy) of Paducah, KY, Susan Culp of Paducah, KY, Robyn Bybee (Terrill) of Paducah, KY and Angel Henry (Brandon) of LaCenter, KY; a brother, Charles Walker (Sherry) of Kevil, KY; three sisters, Ida Mae Walker of Kevil, Martha Foote of Kevil, KY and Shirley Parker of Paducah, KY; eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Holt Walker, a grandson, Sawyer Underwood; a brother, Allie Walker and his parents.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 19, after 11:00 am at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral services will beheld Friday, May 19, 2023 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter with Rev. Stan Durrett officiating.  Interment will follow at Bethel Christian Church Cemetery.
