Cynthia Burgess Walton went to be with the Lord on December 12, 2023 at 3 p.m. at Lifecare in LaCenter, KY. Cynthia was born in Beulah, KY. to Tommy and Annie Cummins Burgess. She was a devoted Christian and served in her church and on many mission trips. She was a longtime member of Second Baptist Church in Clinton, KY and a current member of Faith Baptist Church in Wickliffe, KY.
She is survived by a daughter, Rita Hulbert of Paducah, KY; a son Tom Brown (Gwen) of Rapid City, SD; a daughter Teresa Pearson (Lee) of Barlow, KY; a step daughter Yvonne Williams of Clinton, KY; along with 16 grandkids, 29 great grandkids, and 4 great great grandkids.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her mom and dad, her husband Jack Walton and step son Ronnie Walton. Her devoted caregiver was her granddaughter Suprene Riggs (Johnny) of LaCenter, KY.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023 at 4 p.m. for family and 5 to 8 p.m. for family and friends at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2023 at 2 p.m. with Bro. Billy Prince officiating.
Interment will follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pall Bearers are Johnny Riggs, Craig Mitchell, Lucas Brown, Mark Hulbert, Eric Hulbert and Lee Pearson.
