Beverly J. Wallace, 78 of West Paducah rested peacefully into the arms of Jesus at her home on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Beverly was known as Granny to her grandchildren and Ninga by her great grandchildren whom she loved more than life itself. She was beyond devoted and loving to her kids, grandchildren, family and friends. They knew they could always count on her. Besides her family, she loved singing karaoke with her friends, watching and spoiling her great grandchildren, working in her flower gardens and cooking for all the family get togethers. She was a true inspiration to those that knew her and loved her. Beverly worked at Days Inn during her younger years and then retired from USEC in 2009.
She is survived by one son, Duane Sanders (Jamie) of Gage, KY; four grandchildren, Tonya Sutton (John) of Gage, KY, Wesley Sanders (Mary) of Gage, KY, Whitney Geeding (Josh) of Fancy Farm, KY, Zach Rodgers (Jeanna) of Melber, KY; seven great grandchildren, Jackson Sutton, Jase Sutton, Teagan Sutton, Lynden Davis, Lynlee Sanders, Rosie Cumbie and Charlie Cumbie; two sisters, Judy Baker of Paducah, KY and Barbara Kight of Paducah, KY.
Beverly was preceded in death by her partner of 28 years, Bill Waid; one brother Paul Wallace; one daughter, Denise Sanders; two great grandchildren, Lilly Cumbie and Thomas Peeler; her parents, Orville and Bernice (Overby) Wallace.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 15, 2024 after 12:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, September 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with Bo Rodgers officiating.
Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
