William “Bill” Bradley Allen, Sr., 83, of Wickliffe, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Mercy Health Lourdes in Paducah.

Bill was born in Bandana, Kentucky on June 10, 1939 to the late George Bradley and Lucille Choven Allen.  He was a long-time member of Wickliffe First Baptist Church.  Bill served in the United States Army and was a 32nd Degree Mason with the #625 Masonic Lodge of Wickliffe.  He owned and operated Allen’s Barber Shop in Wickliffe for over five decades.  Bill was a huge sports fan and even played basketball collegiately at Murray State University.  He also enjoyed golfing and cheering on his beloved Kentucky Wildcats and St. Louis Cardinals.  Bill will be remembered by family and friends as a true staple of the Wickliffe community.

Bill is survived by one son, Cory Allen and wife, Dawna of Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughter-in-law, Tobie Allen of West Paducah, Kentucky; three grandchildren, William Bradley (Melanie) Allen, III of Kevil, Callie Allen of West Paducah and Kelsey (Ricky) Hensley of Ledbetter; seven great-grandchildren, Gunner Allen, McKinley Allen, RJ Allen, Drake Rounds, Carter Hensley, Mason Hensley and Hunter Hensley.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne Moss Allen; a son, William Bradley Allen, Jr.; and three brothers, Tally Allen, Glenn Allen and Randy Allen.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the service time of 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe.  

Masonic Rites will be held at 12:00 pm with a memorial service to immediately  follow on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Bro. Butch Latta officiating.  Burial will follow with Military Honors at Wickliffe City Cemetery.
