Wanda Jean Myers

Wanda Jean Myers, 73, of Kevil, KY passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025, at her residence. She was born on November 3, 1951, to the late James and Hazel Wiggins Blair in Paducah, KY.

As a devoted homemaker, Wanda's world revolved around taking care of her family, a role she cherished deeply. Her love knew no bounds, especially when it came to her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Wanda's nurturing spirit extended beyond her home to her Eagles Club family, where she was a beloved member, known for her warmth and generosity.

Wanda's interests were a reflection of her love for life and nature. She found solace in tending to her rose bushes, her camping trips were among her favorite getaways providing cherished memories with family and friends. Wanda also enjoyed the thrill of Bingo nights and the excitement of pull tabs, activities that were always more about the laughter and camaraderie than the games themselves.
 
Wanda is survived by her husband of 51 years, Wayne L. Myers Sr. of Kevil, KY; her two sons, Wayne L. Myers Jr. of Kevil, KY and James A. Myers of Paducah; her grandchildren, Nicholas Myers of Paducah, Ayden B. Myers of Kevil, Peyton Myers of Mayfield and Luke Myers of Kevil; two sisters, Brenda Wright of Paducah and JoAnn Wring of Paducah; a brother, Gary Blair of Paducah along with several nieces and nephews.
 
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
 
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, March 28, 2025 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak with Rev. Joel Harper officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM Friday, March 28, 2025 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak.
