Violet Clark passed away at 12:52 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2025, at her home. Violet was born on March 29, 1931 in Livingston County, Kentucky, to Edgar Ferrell and Nellie Crotser Ferrell. She was of Christian faith and formerly attended Trinity Baptist Church and Margaret Hank Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Violet was a retiree of South Central Bell Telephone.
Survivors include two sons, Edwin “Jay” (Sheryl) Hosick of West Paducah and Marion “Mike”(Sonya) Hosick of Loudon, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Stephanie (Mike) Hack, Stacie Byrd, Kelly Hosick, and Todd Hosick; five great grandchildren, Benjamin Williams, Kim Hack, Michael Byrd, Murphy Byrd and Xander Hosick.
Preceding in death were her grandson, Jace Hosick; first husband, Marion O. Hosick, second husband, Jack Clark; two brothers, Frank E. Ferrell and Horace J. Ferrell; and her parents.
Private services will be held at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with entombment to follow.
