Vickie Hodges, 75, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, surrounded by the love and comfort of her home.

She was born in Paducah, Kentucky, on March 18, 1950, to late Phillp and Grace Younker Neihoff. Vickie dedicated over twenty years of service to Hultman Signs, where her natural flair for sales was evident to colleagues and customers alike. She not only excelled in her professional endeavors but also enriched her community through her active participation at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Vickie’s voice graced the church choir and uplifted the spirits of all who heard her sing. An enthusiast of the outdoors, she cherished moments spent with her fishing pole in hand, reveling in the peace and solitude that only nature can offer. Bingo nights were another source of delight for Vickie.

However, central to Vickie's heart was her home life, particularly the times spent cooking in her kitchen for everyone. There was no joy greater for Vickie than the laughter and stories shared around the dinner table with her three daughters, whom she adored beyond measure. The arrival of her grandchildren only multiplied this joy, as she embraced her role as a grandmother with an abundance of affection and the keenest interest in their lives.

Vickie is survived by her three daughters, Karen Hodges of Paducah, Michelle Wiley and her husband, Earl of Paducah, and Brittany Elder and her husband, Eric of Paducah; eight grandchildren, Dustin Gass, Dylan Gass, Devon Gass (Courtney), Kaila Helm (Tyler), Makenzie King (Tyler), Brianna Elder, Alexis Scott (Cody), and Jaidynn Elder; her brother, Mike Neihoff and his wife, Kay of Wellington, Florida, her sister-in-law, Maurleen Neihoff of Paducah; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a her husband, Louis Hodges; a grandson, Eric Elder Jr.; and a brother, Larry Neihoff.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Rev. Bruce Fogle officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. John Cemetery.
