Vicki Hammonds Jackson

Vicki Hammonds Jackson, age 68, of Kirbyton, KY, passed away on March 26, 2025, at the Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Vicki was born on July 23, 1956, in Kankakee, Illinois, to the late T.D. and Lettie Mae Hammonds.

Vicki was a long-standing member of the Kirbyton Baptist Church and spent many years bringing joy to others as a beloved hairdresser. Her passion for life was evident in her roles as a devoted mother, a loyal friend, and the loving caretaker of her pets, Jake and Candy. Known for her inventive spirit, she often delighted in creating new things, solving word puzzles, and indulging in her favorite soap operas. Her laughter was infectious, her honesty unwavering, and her truthfulness was a hallmark of her character. Vicki's selfless nature shone brightly as she cared for those in need, and her presence was a blessing to everyone who knew her.

Vicki is survived by her son, Christopher Jackson, of Kirbyton, Kentucky.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David Jackson; her brothers, Gilbert Hammonds and Johnny Hammonds; and her parents.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Kirbyton Cemetery in Kirbyton, Kentucky. With Bro. Mark Wilson officiating.
