Tommy Overstreet

Tommy Overstreet, 81, of Paducah, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitaion Center in Metropolis.

Tommy was born in Paducah on October 10, 1940.  He owned and operated several family businesses which included Overstreet Amusement, Inc. and Mr. O’s Sporting Goods.  Tommy also worked for over 15 years with Murtco Inc.  He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing.  Tommy was an avid sports fan.  If he wasn’t watching sports on television, you could find him cheering on his children, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren at one of their sporting events.
 
Mr. Overstreet is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joyce Gregory Overstreet; two sons, Greg Overstreet (Connie) of Paducah, Randy Overstreet (Shannon) of Louisville; four grandchildren, Wesley Overstreet of Paducah, Whitney Cruse (Bryan) of Paducah, McKenzie Overstreet (Perry) of Lousiville and McCall Overstreet (Kinsey) of Louisville; four great-grandchildren, Graham Cruse, Gavin Cruse, Cohen Overstreet, and Palmer Overstreet.
 
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elgie Stuart and Monteray Riddle Overstreet.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2022 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Danny Orazine officiating. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the service time of 12:30 pm at the funeral home.
