Tina Marie Shelton, 55 of Paducah passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Paducah. Tina was born on July 17, 1969 in Mayfield, KY.
She attended Trinity Baptist Church and was a graduate of the Kentucky School for the Blind in Louisville, KY. After graduating from the Kentucky School for the Blind, Tina's determination to be self-sufficient led her to a position at the Executive Inn, where she worked diligently in housekeeping. This was a testament to her spirit and work ethic. Following the closure of the Executive Inn, she embraced another opportunity, serving as a Walmart greeter for two decades. This role allowed her to connect with people and brighten their days - a perfect reflection of her kind nature. She touched many lives during her time there.
She is survived by her parents, Jonathan Lee and Claudia McKinney Thompson of Gilbertsville, KY; her brother, Rodney Shelton of Gilbertsville; her sister, Candy (Matthew) Hatchett of Paducah; a nephew, Austin (Jennifer) Culp of Gilbertsville; a niece, Madeline (Tate) Fiers of Hickory, KY; a special friend, Judy Chapman along great nieces and nephews, Addleigh Culp, Kinzlee Culp, Briley Culp, Bentley Culp and Weston Fiers.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, CB and Martha McKinney and a cousin John Bryant McKinney.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah with Rev. Ronnie Stinson officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.
