Timmy Clapp, 53, of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. He was born in Paducah, Kentucky on December 23, 1971. Timmy worked for Westlake Corporation for 20 years. He was a member of Reidland United Methodist Church, Plumbers & Steamfitters Union Local #184 and the Mega Gym. Timmy was an avid Georgia Bulldogs Football Fan and knew every player by name. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. His greatest joy was spending time with his daughter and his family.
Timmy is survived by his daughter, ClaraFaye Hartley Clapp of Calvert City, Kentucky; parents, Freddie and Rhonda Brown Clapp of Reidland, Kentucky; sister, Stephanie (Gary) Reese of Paducah, Kentucky; fiancée, Lisa Fox of Benton, Kentucky; niece, McKenzie Reese of Los Angeles, California; aunts, Cindy Clapp, Gloria (Jim) Bugg, Jenny (Tom) Flanary; uncle, Ronnie (Tootsie) Brown; special canine companion, Bruno; best friend, J.T. Thompson and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by an uncle, Sonny Clapp and his grandparents.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Brook Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Katie Minnis officiating.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
