Thomas “Tommy” Amis, 83, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 8:05 a.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Oakview Nursing and Rehabilition Center. He was born on February 21, 1941 in Paducah to the late Roy Amis and Cynthia Clark Amis. Tommy was retired from the Crounse Corporation where he was a cook. He served in the United States Air Force and was of the Baptist faith.
Tommy is survived by two sisters, Margaret Sue Adams of Paducah, Kentucky and Norma Reams of Stillwater, Alabama; brother, Donald Clark Amis and wife, Ginger, of Cadiz, Kentucky; nephews, Terry Barton Amis, Kerry (Cara) Don Amis, Jeffrey (Renee) Lynn Adams, Keith Reams; great nieces and nephews, Ellie, Hattie, Brandy, Tiffany, Jessica, Troy and Coleman.
He was preceded in death by two brother-in-laws, Robert Adams and Russell Reams; nephew, Rusty Reams and his parents.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. Todd Hawkins officiating.
There will be no public visitation.
