Tom Grassham, age 79, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away on September 24, 2024 at South Gate Nursing & Rehab Center. Tom was born on May 14, 1945 to C.W. Grassham and Louise Cates Grassham. Tom was a 1964 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church. Tom was a Government Employee having worked as a Bank Examiner for the Kentucky Department of Financial Services. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. Tom enjoyed woodworking, both designing and building. He enjoyed gardening and his own way of watering the flowers.
Survivors include wife of 43 years, Kathie (Bass) Grassham; two daughters, Sarah Katherine Martin (Derek) of Carlisle County and Rebecca Ann Cassidy of Paducah, KY; two grandchildren, Jack Martin and Kate Martin.
Preceding in death was his parents; three brothers, Charles William Grassham, Louis Grassham and John Anthony “Tony” Grassham.
Services will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Scott Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery with Army Military Honors. Visitation will be held Monday, September 30, 2024 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah from 10:00 a.m. until service time of 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
