Tanya Lee Bradford, a lifelong member of the Paducah community, passed away at Providence Point on August 13, 2025, just two days shy of her 77th birthday. Tanya was born on August 15, 1948, to the late Robert and Wanda Gorman Gilbert.
Tanya's early years were spent in the nurturing environment of Paducah, where she cultivated a love for her hometown and its people. Her dedication to education led her to pursue and achieve a business degree from Draughon's Business College, which laid the foundation for her successful career. Tanya's professional life was marked by her tenure as a respected banker, a career she later retired from.
A devout Christian, Tanya was a member of the Lone Oak Church of Christ. She lived her beliefs with kindness and compassion for others.
Beyond her professional achievements, Tanya was a woman of many interests. She appreciated the simple pleasures of life, finding great joy in shopping, always on the lookout for the next great find. Vacationing with her beloved husband was among her favorite pastimes, as they created many memories in places near and far. Tanya enjoyed summers at the Kentucky Lake, which often led to dining at Patti’s 1880’s Settlement quite frequently.
Tanya is survived by one daughter, Jennifer (Joseph) Gilbert of Paducah; two sisters, Cheryl (Boyce) Allen, and Becky Gilbert, both of Paducah; and two grandchildren, Tyler Austin Busby, and Brianna Lynn Gilbert of Paducah.
Tanya was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Craig Bradford; and one brother, Robert E. Gilbert Jr.
There will be no services at this time.
