Syd Arne Bennett, 71, rode the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Born March 30, 1955, to Gwen and Syd Bennett in Pensacola, Florida, he grew up across the USA, traveling with his sister Debra and brother Kevin, living the life of an “Air Force Brat.”
He followed the family legacy and served in the United States Air Force. In 1978, during his service, he was stationed in Seattle, Washington, where he met and married his wife, Dayna Fruzza Bennett. They later moved to California, then Kentucky in 2020. He loved his motorcycles, cars, guitars, and his family was everything to him.
He is survived by his wife; mother-in-law, Gwen Frye; sister Debra; brother Kevin; and many nephews and nieces.
