Sue Ledbetter, age 94, of Bardwell, Kentucky passed away at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Countryside Nursing and Rehab Center in Bardwell, Kentucky. Sue was born on May 29, 1930, to the late David R. Dycus and Verda Johnson Dycus. Sue was of Baptist faith and a graduate of Bardwell High School. She was retired from Burkhart's Company in Cairo, Illinois. Sue enjoyed decorating, shopping, wallpapering, and traveling; she loved for the family to drop in for a visit.
Survivors include one grandson, David Walker; one grand-daughter, Shawna Walker Dowdy (Kevin); two sisters, Jean Mathis of Melber, KY and Gladys Lambert of St. Louis, MO; one brother Kenneth Dycus of Bardwell, KY; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; eleven nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews
Preceding her in death was her husband, Norman Ledbetter; parents; one son, Steve Marshall Walker; two sisters, Vivian Bishop and Carmen Lane; one brother, David Dycus.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the Milner & Orr Funeral of Bardwell with Rev. Roger Wood officiating. Private family burial will take place at the Burkley Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell.
