Stanley "Chip" Kent Sloan

Stanley “Chip” Kent Sloan, age 67, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 2:31 A.M. Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Mercy Health Lourdes.
 
Chip was born in Paducah, Kentucky to Samuel and Norma Sloan. Chip’s first love was golf and received a golf scholarship to Southern Mississippi University. He was voted class clown his senior year at Tighlman High School and he will be remembered for his quick wit and outgoing personality. 
 
Mr. Sloan is survived by his daughters, Halli Morland Sloan of Indianapolis, Indiana and Andie Rae Sloan of Charlotte, North Carolina; his brothers, Stephen Sloan of Eatonton, Georgia and Terry Sloan of Paducah.
 
Mr. Sloan was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel “Poppie” Sidney Sloan, Jr. and Norma “Gokie” Jean Perry Sloan.

 Private services are being planned by his two daughters. 

 Arrangements are being handled by Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.
