Shirley Smallwood

Shirley Smallwood, age 72, of West Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 2:03 A.M. Monday, January 31, 2022 at Mercy Health-Lourdes Hospital.
 
Shirley was born in Paducah on Sunday, October 2, 1949 to Omar and Mary Barnhart. She was employed as a Hospital Dietary Aide and was a lifetime member of New Life Apostolic Tabernacle.
 
Mrs. Smallwood is survived by her daughter, Donita Smallwood Rhoton (Jeffrey) of Ocala, Florida; her son, James R. Smallwood (Sally) of West Paducah; her sisters, Janice Faye Walls (Gary) of Paducah and Carol K. Fletcher of Calvert City, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Timothy James Bryan, Mary Beth Smallwood and James Copper Bryan; her great-grandson, Beau Allen Bryan.
 
Mrs. Smallwood was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Charles Smallwood; her son, Donald Charles Smallwood, Jr; her older brother, Dale Barnhart; her parents, Omar Dale Barnhart and Mary Virginia Barr Barnhart.
 
Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. James Rundles and Rev. Tony Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the 12:00 pm service time on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
