Shirley Mullen Baldree

Shirley Mullen Baldree, age 84, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, February 16, 2025 at her home. 

Shirley was born in Paducah, Kentucky on May 29, 1940 to the late Eddie Mullen Sr. and Miami Marshall Mullen.  Shirley was of Christian faith.  She was the retired owner of Paducah Tent & Awning Company.  Shirley found joy in listening to country gospel music, playing the piano and singing.  Shirley adored her beloved bird, "Buzz," who provided her with endless entertainment and companionship. The presence of her feathered friend added a touch of whimsy and delight to her daily life. Shirley cherished most of all, the visits of her nieces and nephews.
 
Survivors include one brother, Larry (Jeanne) Mullen, Paducah, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Velva Mullen, Paducah Kentucky; several nieces, nephews; great- nieces and great- nephews.
 
Preceding in death was parents, husband of 49 years, Billy Joe Watson; one sister, Anna Pinnegar; five brothers, Eddie “Moon” Mullen Sr., James Paul Mullen, Daniel “Kayo” Mullen, Charles Mullen and David Mullen.
 
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2025 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with  Danny Orazine officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. 
 
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 from 11:00 am until service time of 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
